WELCOME
Depending on when you catch him, Mike Minjarez is always wearing a new hat. Whether he is playing Motown bass lines, folk finger-style acoustic ballads, searing alternative rock leads, or heartfelt piano melodies - you feel as if is the only one he has ever worn. Mike has his music degree from the University of Texas, and currently resides in Los Angeles as a Musician and Teacher.
Mike's songwriting collaborations with his first band "Altarmotive" have been featured on CBS and the WB networks. Later, he recorded bass guitar on Tom Russell’s critically acclaimed release “Mesabi”, as well as holding down bass and piano duties for both Dirty River Boys EP’s “Long Cold Fall”, and “Train Station”. Also, Mike's gifts in production are featured in the the 2010 release “Dark Matter” from Texas Artist Emily Davis. He also has been creating music for TV Since 2009. Summer 2014 Mike has begun production on Valerie Ponzio's EP in Hollywood, CA - Stay Tuned!
